Project Overview

Ede’s was appointed to manage the full relocation of Inigo Insurance’s London operations, moving approximately 200 staff from One Creechurch Place to their new headquarters at 25 Fenchurch Avenue. The project required a high level of planning and coordination with building management, security teams, and other tenants to ensure a seamless transition.

Scope of Works

• Pre-Move Services:
  • Two weekday pre-move clearance jobs.
  • Sequential packing, relocation, and unpacking of the library.
  • Packing and relocation of over 100 pieces of artwork, busts, memorabilia, and fragile items.
• Main Move:
  • Carried out over the August Bank Holiday weekend to minimise business disruption.
  • Relocation of selected furniture, ~400 monitors, filing, and personal desk contents.
  • Full supply of crates and packing materials.
  • Unpack and re-instatement of the library on site.
• Post-Move Support:
  • Helping Hands team on the first working day after the move.
  • Post-move clearance of redundant items from the new site.
• Sustainable Outcomes:
  • Resale of surplus furniture including 200 desks, operator chairs, and meeting furniture.
  • Donation of 100 operator chairs and whiteboards to a school.
  • Donation of redundant IT/AV equipment including 200 docks, keyboards, monitors, and ~15 TVs/projectors/screens.
  • Responsible clearance of general waste, achieving zero-to-landfill.

Project Delivery

The project was meticulously planned, with Ede’s attending all planning meetings and post-move debriefs to ensure every stage was captured and coordinated.
