Ede’s was appointed to support Supermassive Games with a multi-phase relocation project involving the movement of staff, IT equipment, and critical server infrastructure across two new premises in Guildford.The project required the seamless coordination of staff moves, desktop decommissioning and recommissioning, and the secure handling of sensitive gaming and server systems.The key priority was clear: ensure business continuity while delivering a complex technical relocation efficiently and securely.

The Challenge

Delivering a large-scale relocation for a gaming studio presented both logistical and technical challenges.Key challenges included:

• Coordinating the phased relocation of approximately 350 staff across multiple sites
• Managing the safe handling of high-value and sensitive IT and server equipment
• Working around incomplete building readiness across different phases
• Supporting specialist environments including sound studios
• Ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business operations
